Dear Facebook!

"By the way Facebook, I am using this image in the spirit of your recent new agreement offer"

As an artist, who wants to share in the community and interact with friends and fellow artist I find it completely offensive that Facebook wants to have, "irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense)" full agreement  rights to my content. If you want to foster a community and have take care of your customers and content providers you need to listen to them and not take advantage of them. Customer service should be your number one concern.

We are the ones who are providing the content here Facebook.

You are responsible for providing the platform. Understand the relationship and respect and give value to us and we will continue to work with you. Piss us off and take advantage of us with user agreements like this and we will go somewhere else and deal with another provider who respects us. This is a very fickle group of people. You may be the market leader today, but we provide the content and if we do not feel value we can and will go elsewhere.

I repeat again so you get the point!

I have seen your random automated system of establishing who has accounts that are doing something “shady” and automatically shutting them down. Between this and the new user agreement you seem the think that you can and will do as you please and people will stick with you. News Flash!!! You are not a monopoly, you are not the only game in town, you do not have the best service in town and finally you seem not to care about your content providers. Now where I come from that is bad customer service and that means bad business.

So what are you going to do about it facebook??

Customer service and respecting the content providers or fuck all of us and content be damned?
